Our bus showed up on time and we rolled precisely at 6:30am as planned. We will hit the CiCis in Clovis NM for lunch, dinner plan TBD based on our progress. Travel weather is beautiful and while we all are anxious to be home it will be tough trading the cool clear dry mountain air for Texas heat and humidity.
Looks like everyone did manage to get showered - we were especially vigilant about making sure that the ones that took the 'Philmont Challenge' (same shirt, no shower for 12 days) showered! The cargo compartment down below smells pretty bad so be prepared for some toxic waste level laundry challenges.
