This year it looks like the troop chess championship isn't even stopping for meals. The dining hall is pretty basic - open around the edges to get a breeze through and with lots of fans so it was pretty comfortable. Dinner Sunday evening was reasonable - chicken fried steaks, corn, mashed potatoes, gravy and cake. Of course a salad bar and PB&Js are available for those who don't like that stuff.
